Casa Sozzi is a building of significant historical and architectural value dating back to the seventeenth century subject to protection in the town of Campazzo, a town in the municipality of Pontevico. The house is spread over two floors above ground plus attic and the interiors are divided into the two corridors on the ground floor and on the first floor with large side rooms rich in valuable architectural elements, such as three-mullowed windows with painted splays and decorated walls with frescoes. The purpose of the works with respect to housing reuse is centered on the adaptation of the architectural organism and on the maximum compatibility between specific characteristics of the individual elements of the factory and new functional needs, preserving the historical value and characteristics of the existing one, with particular attention to the state of conservation. In general, the intervention involves the redistribution of the internal environments, the structural consolidation, the conservative restoration of the wooden parts of the ceilings, the cleaning of the original architectural elements of preservable value, the adaptation of the plant engineering and the elimination of those portions of the house built in recent years, to recover the original planimetric system.
