From Darkness to Light – Private Residence in the Brescian Countryside

Studio Lodrini curated the renovation of a two-level home set in the countryside of Brescia, designed for a young family. The project transformed the residence into a refined, minimalist, and emotionally resonant space where light and materials interact harmoniously.

The home, defined by monochromatic finishes and abstract lines, features bright, open areas where soft and deep tones coexist. Inspired by Aristotle’s concept of transformation from potential to actual, the design reflects a journey from raw matter to spiritual fulfillment through architecture.

Meticulous attention was paid to material selection, enhancing the home’s aesthetic, functionality, and sensory experience. The layout flows naturally: the living room and kitchen open onto the garden, the bathroom offers a spa-like ambiance, and the furnishings—created in collaboration with Atelier Giorgio Ramone—emphasize simplicity, warmth, and emotional connection.

A contemporary interpretation of living, where architectural design and inner well-being merge into a cohesive and meaningful home experience.
