Studio Lodrini managed a targeted consolidation and restoration intervention on the parish church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the Duomo district of Rovato. The building showed a significant crack on the counter-façade, indicating a structural problem known as “out-of-plane façade overturning.”

The intervention was designed to be as discreet as possible, avoiding visible changes inside the church, and included the installation of two new tie rods in the attic to reduce the building’s structural vulnerability. Architectural supervision was entrusted to architect Marco Lodrini, while the structural design was overseen by engineer Alessandro Lodrini, ensuring an integrated collaboration between architecture and engineering aimed at safeguarding the church’s stability and historical integrity.
